003: Li Yaxuan’s teaching

李雅轩给徒弟徒孙改拳时,经常做的就两个动作:一是沿着脊椎,从领口到尾椎,手往下一刷,提醒徒弟注意脊椎一定要直;二是,把膝盖往外搬,开胯。这两个地方,就是内功的最关键,几乎是全部了。

When Li Yaxuan helped his disciples and followers to correct their forms, he often did these two actions:
1. He would brush his hands along their spines from their neckline to their tailbone, reminding them that the spine has to be straight;
2. He would also adjust the position of their knees to open the Kua. These two points are essential for Neigong. You could even say, they form almost all of it.

*Li Ya Xuan (1894 -1976) was a top disciple of Yang Cheng Fu.
