The second level (man level)
In this level, Jin is released by opening-closing, Jin Yuan is at Ming Men, and Jin is released from the spine. The Qi's training is Qi adhere up to the back and sink down to the lower Dantian (some lineage called this 'Dantian rotation'). When Fa Jin, the Heng-Ha Qi are used to mobilize (Gu-Dang) the Qi at the Dantian while Jin is started at the Ming Men point. Qi can be transferred throughout the body and condensed into the bone. The Jin is sharp and crisp; it can be released like an arrow. The quality of Jin is Song-Tan (relaxed and elastic). The training at this level is: harmonizing the internal and external, hardness and softness, Yi leads Qi, and Qi moves the body.
The third level (Heaven level)
This level is based on Hua or transformation (of Yin and Yang), Jin Yuan is at Jie Ji point. One could change Yin and Yang in left and right, upper and lower, empty and full. As the classic said "Suddenly hide and suddenly appear. When there is pressure on the left, the left empties. When there is pressure on the right, the right disappears. " Jin can be released at every part of the body as the classic stated, "The issuing of your whole body expresses with every hair." The training focuses on changing with Qing-Ling (light and agile). Internal Qi is trained to accumulate and raise up to bolster Shen. To do so, one must keep the throat inward, extend Yu Zhen upward, and open the three gates. Then Shen can be raised to the top, as the classic stated, "As long as you never show your throat, you will be able to handle yourself against all the best heroes under the sky." The Jin can be both Hua and Fa; Hua is Fa, and Fa is also Hua. With Shen rising to the top, the whole body will be fully filled with Shen-Yi-Qi; no single part without Shen-Yi-Qi, this is called Teng Nou.
